Here is some additional information about using the CLD Remote program.
HOW TO CREATE A LIST OF CD TITLES
1. Click on the zoom box located on the top-right corner of the CLD Remote window to open a track list.
2. Click on the CD title or press the tab, return or enter key to enter edit mode.
3. Now you can edit the CD title or track titles. Use the title box located below the track name list.
4. After editing the CD title, press the tab, return or enter key to edit the name of the first track. You can click on any track name to edit that name.
5. After you finish creating the list of all tracks, click anywhere on the program's window other than on buttons to exit edit mode. Now you can click on a track name and it will play.
You can directly enter edit mode of one track by clicking a track number field located before the track name.
Title lists can be saved to a file named “CD Remote Programs”. This file can also be used by Apple's “CD Remote” DA and INIT. If you already have created title lists with Apple’s "CD Remote", you can automaticaly use those lists with CLD Remote.
If a disc title and track name extend past the display area in the main CLD Remote window. (This is the area just above the time display in the main CLD Remote control window.) The program will automatically scroll the text to the left, to display the whole title. In the track list, an extended title will end with ... to express that there are more characters in the title.
SELECTING A REPEAT MODE
1. If you quit the program while in a repeat mode, audio play will stop as soon as the track that is playing reaches the end.
2. Random repeat selects a play back order at the beginning and repeats the same play back order continuously.
3. Pressing the control button for Manual Stop, selecting a disc change or track change will cause the program to exit repeat mode.
4. Track Fast Forward or Rewind will make the unit step forward or backward in the order selected, as long as it remains in repeat mode.
5. "Repeat Disc" and "Repeat All" command returns to the top of the list while "Repeat Track" continuously plays the track selected.
SCROLLING THROUGH TRACK LIST
1. If the mounted Audio CD has more than 11 tracks, you can scroll through the track list by using the scroll buttons located below the list. (Remember, open the title list by clicking on the zoom box in the upper right corner of CLD Remote control window. Close title list by also clicking on the zoom box.)
2. Scroll buttons at the bottom of the title list are highlighted if more tracks are available in either direction.
3. If more than three seconds pass after clicking on a scroll button, auto scrolling will activate. This shows the title of the track that is playing, even if it is hidden by manual scrolling. If the title of the track that is playing is located more than 22 titles away, the program will jump to that track instead of scrolling all the way.
